Choreography Workshop

Free for all dancers ages 16-24 living in Del Norte County or adjacent Tribal lands
Redwood Dance Exchange Program
July 20 - July 26
With Lauren Godla, Director for DiRT & Glitter and Kara Starkweather, Director for the Mendocino Dance Project
Looking for 2 more Del Norte-based experienced dancers ages 16-24 to participate in a professional performance process
The week will start in Del Norte and end in Mendocino with a performance on Friday, July 25th
We will be camping all week with a caterer to prepare food for us!
$500 stipends being offered to each dancer and food and travel expenses will be covered

Vertical Dance Camp
July 29- Aug 1
With Lauren Godla, Kara Starkweather, and Madeline Lawder
Assisted by amazing local youth with Vertical Dance Experience and Site-specific knowledge to share
11am - 4pm with lunch provided
We will meet at the Forks Boat Ramp and River Access Parking lot and walk to a nearby Redwood Grove in the National Forest
Free for all dancers ages 12-18 living in Del Norte County or adjacent Tribal lands

At Redwood Elementary School
Free for all dancers ages 16-24 living in Del Norte County or adjacent Tribal lands
*This could lead to a dance teaching job in the schools
Emergence in Art, Movement and Making

An Interdisciplinary Community Workshop with Nicole Casado

At Redwood Elementary School
Free for anyone 14 years and up
OPEN CALL for SINGERS~ ~
Breathing Bridges, a yearly DiRT & Glitter production, is having an open call for choir singers ages 10 and up - adults are welcome!
This is a unique opportunity to sing in relationship with the natural acoustics of the river canyon. The performance and rehearsals will take place on the Smith River.
Singers will get the chance to rehearse with and learn a composition by a musician who has toured and taught internationally.
